The Horses

Florence

Flo came to us aged seven as someone’s failed project. She had been living in a dark barn and was very underweight. She was very shy, tricky to catch and not rideable due to fear and pain from a back issue. 

Diego

Diego has been with us since 2020 when he arrived with severe behavioural issues, which have almost been entirely overcome. It is likely that he was weaned from his mother too early, causing many problems.

TK

TK was gifted to us due to her nature; she has well hidden anxiety and puts on a brave front to continue surviving through life but currently her issues are hindering her progress and happiness. 

Jigsaw

Our resident pony known affectionately as Jigs or Jiggles. She is a fifteen year old and has been on life loan to us since 2014 when she was outgrown by her former owner and her ‘pony’ behaviour became challenging.

George

George is a truly special horse. He has the build of a Shire and is known as a ‘gentle giant’. He was born on a farm in Dorset and lived there for six years with a donkey companion. 

Charlie

Charlie is our newest pony, having joined the charity in January 2023. Charlie was gifted to us due to being unmanageable and considered ‘dangerous’ by his previous loaner.

You receive an online sponsorship certificate and a photo of your horse.

Pays for a physio session or a large bag of hay to feed your horse

You receive an online sponsorship certificate, a photo of your horse and a monthly update.

Pays for annual dental treatment or a new winter rug

You receive an online sponsorship certificate, a photo of your horse, a monthly update and an annual visit (conditions apply) to meet your horse.

Pays for hoof care, food or bedding

You receive an online sponsorship certificate, a photo of your horse, a monthly update and two facilitated visits (conditions apply) to groom, walk or just be with your horse.
